With the playoffs going on this is a time with usually little news out there in Mets land. With the Cardinals out of the playoffs now you will see a few more rumors on the Mets interest in Matt Holliday. Other then that it will be time to read about what some of the former Met players are doing in retirement.
One Catcher took his team to the playoffs. Gary. Carter now waits by the phone to see if any team wants him in the Majors. His back up back when he was with the Mets, Ed Hearn spends his day wondering how much longer he will live.
