Does Church Have A Prayer?

Former Met Ryan Church was designated for assignment today by the Atlanta Braves. Church, who the Mets sent to the Braves for Jeff Francoeur, had a difficult time upon being traded to the Braves.

The Braves designated Church to make room for Rafael Soriano .

If Church goes unclaimed after 10 days, the Braves must either trade of release him.

This might very well be the sad ending for Church, who had a lot of ability, but injuries seemed to be his downfall.
