The game is to be played at Tradition Field in St. Lucie West for the fifth annual Treasure Coast Hospice v. St. Lucie Mets Charity Softball Game.
According to TCPalm:
"Gates open at 4 p.m. (February 20th) with Mets players conducting the John McHale Baseball Clinic designed for children who have lost a parent, sibling or other loved one. Following the clinic, the friendly showdown will get under way. A fireworks finale will complete the event at the ballpark. Tickets are $6; kids under 12 are free. Proceeds will benefit Camp Good Grief — a youth camp designed for children to have a place to express their grief with others who have had a similar experience. Tickets may be purchased at Tradition Field. Sponsorship packages are available and begin at $100. For sponsorship details, contact Anne Marie Davidson at (772) 403-4406." |
