Who you may ask?
None other then dish expert Shawn Riggans. The Mets signed him to a minor-league deal with a spring-training invite. This is so Omir Santos has some compettion
Riggans, 29, has caught 64 games over three seasons with the Rays. With his whopping career .202 average with seven homers and 28 RBI in 188 at-bats with Tampa Bay which I am sure has Santos is quaking in his catching boots.
He only played in 33 games in the majors and minors last season because of right shoulder tendinitis. Which is right up the Mets injured alley.
