As we start on a big flake snowy Wednesday we can now set our sights on opening day next month. We updated our little countdown widget so if you need to know how long it is before the first game against the Marlins on April 5th.
The Mets have started there road to opening day with a win yesterday with mostly there b team against the Braves 4-2. Now they take there show on the road to Orlando where they will play the Braves again with Pat Misch getting the start.
Some of the regulars will not make the trip so they will have to wait until Thursday game against the Cardinals before they see live pitching from opponents. This includes the Mets new Left Fielder Jason Bay.
SNY did there first game yesterday with the trio of GKR. Thursday game will be done by Ron Darling and Kevin B
