Mets need to be smart and send Jenry Mejia to the minors

Not sure who makes the hype more the media or the Mets but they do have lighting in the bottle in pitcher Jenry Mejia.

He pitched 2-1/3 no hit relief against the Marlins on Friday. Manager Jerry says his a 4 seem fastball that moves like some guy ni the bronx whose name I forget. This 1 outing has moved manager Jerry to state that he is considering for a bullpen spot. Why? Can anyone tell me why would manager Jerry say that the first week of games being played when Mejia spent most of the time pitching against the b marlins. I didnt see Dan Uggla in the line up or Ramirez. Also the Marlins to begin with are an overly aggressive team.

A couple of months ago Mejia couldnt find the strike zone in the Arizona fall league and had an ERA that suggested he was not ready. The kid has talent but he needs to not have in his head that he is heading down to the minors so when he doesnt make the team he doesnt have his confidence broken. Just ask a kid like Nick Evans.
