On opening day the Mets have a 2-1 lead after 5 and ½ innings.. David Wright is responsible for the 2 runs with a homer in his first at bat with Luis Castillo on board.
Johan Santana has surrendered 4 hits and just gave up his first run in the 6th inning with a double to Jorge Cantu scoring Chris Coghlan. Santana has struck out 5 and walked 2.
The Mets have 4 hits against Johnson and did leave 2 on earlier in game when Jacobs and then Bay struck out
