Mets change lineup for game 3 vs Marlins April 8th 2010

Ahh all is right with the world now. Another chance for the media to harp on something that isn’t a story goes by the wayside as Mr Angel Pagan makes his debut in Centerfield tonight. While chatting with my sort of esteemed colleague, we were talking about the Merits of the Mets batting order with left/right and I had mentioned that batting Tejada first was a bit much for the 20 year old. Well looky here and we see Manager Jerry placing Tejada down in the lineup against the Marlins newly acquired former tiger Nate Robertson who they traded for in the last week of spring.

Jason Bay and Mr Barajas should have a little history against Mr Robertson since they played against him in the American league. The Mets beat Nate back in 2004 3-2 where he pitched 7 plus innings.

Robertson last year was in 28 games, 6 as a starter and had a ERA over 5 while battling groin injuries.

Pagan CF
Castillo 2B
Wright 3B
Bay LF
Francoeur RF
Tatis 1B
Barajas C
Tejada SS
