Mets cut Figueroa and Parnell among 6 cuts

Of course why would the Mets take a guy who can be used in long relief. So after tongihts game they cut Nelson Figueroa. He might skip going to Buffalo if he clears waivers. They also cut Parnell,Calero, Russ Adams, Chris Carter and Elmer Dessens.

Calero might see time later in year once he gets some more work in.

I really feel bad for figgy he deserved to make the team.

That means the bullpen will likely include the following pitchers: K-Rod, Pedro Feliciano, Jenrry Mejia, Ryota Igarashi, Hisanori Takahashi, Fernando Nieve and Sean Green.

Of course no word on defined rolls for the bullpen.
