Where are they now Carlos Delgado check the Mets dugout

If you had a chance to watch batting practice live in Colorado you would have seen the Mets former Mets first baseman in the dugout. Guess he wanted to make Met fans feel like it was 2009 as he hobbled around on crutches.

Was Delgado telling players that he can play first base now? Of course he might rival the tandem the Mets have now. He is rehabbing from his second surgery on his hip and you can check out the latest on him on this story
here at NJ.com

The former Met was rehabbing in Vail and had this to say
“Obviously, the plan is to end up playing somewhere, sometime,” Delgado said. “But the most important thing is just I want to bounce back and recuperate and see what happens. I don’t want to start thinking too far down the road until I see how the rehab is going and all that.”

Maybe the Mets can have him duke it out with Ike Davis as a non roster invitee in 2011. Not!

Seriously? I barely even understand what I just read. Does this guy even have a HS diploma? Long Island Met Fan makes me feel embarrassed to be a Mets a fan. How did this writers ignorance make it past the editors?

Christopher makes a good point. That article was incoherent at best. Not surprising since the author did not even understand Chris' criticism which was not about the punctuation but rather the content. Oh, and it's "their" punctuation, not "there".
