All- Star game to be broadcast in 3D by Fox.

Break out your 3D glasses. MLB and Fox plan to broadcast this years all star game in 3-D on July 13th . Of course if you do not have a 3-D set you would not be able to view it in 3-D. There will be a trial run for 2 games in Seattle July 10th and 11th when Mariners play the Yankees at Safeco Field. From what I read about the Ranger game they did in 3-D earlier this year is that when the 3-d cameras are on the same level of the action the 3-d effect is pretty cool.

T V Sets are not cheap to purchase. Samsung has 2 on the market which go for around $2,400 for there 46 inch model and $1900 for the 40 inch model. Sony wont debut there new 3 D sets until next month.

Guess I will be stuck watching the All star game in plain old HD.
