With the Mets heading back to NY for a home stand from a road trip that they went 2-4 we look over who was hot and who wasnt. The Mets easily could have won 4 games on this road trip with a extra timely hit or 2.
Thankfully Mets powerhouse Rod Barajas enjoyed a nice little hot streak . He has 7 home runs and leads all catchers in the National League in homers. He hit 4 home runs during these 6 games and drove in 6 with a .375 batting average.
David Wright finally started to heat up as well. He hit .320 on the trip while clocking 4 homers and driving in 7. He has more home runs on the road in 2010 (6) then he did all of 2009.
Angel Pagan finished off the road trip nicely. He wound up hitting .364 with 2 doubles and a triple.
Jason Bay was awful. He hit .130 and did not have 1 hit in the Reds series. Francoeur hit .188 while Reyes, who Manager Jerry keeps saying that he is seeing the ball alot better of late hit only .185.
The Giants come into town on Friday for a 3 game set. They are 16-10.
