As the Mets have an off day today before playing 17 straight games we take a moment to who is doing what with the Bisons these days.
Chris Carter, who many a Met fan feel he is deserving a roster spot on the big club is still tearing it up for the 16-10 Bisons. He is .344 with 4 home runs and 17 rbi’s. The intense lefty is hitting .429 against left handed pitching in 21 at bats.
Jason Pridie is hitting .295 but has struck out 24 times in 105 at bats. Ruben Tejada is hitting .256 since returning to the Bisons squad.
F Mart is hitting .253 with 2 homers. Josh Thole , who is doing the bulk of the catching is hitting just .169 in 65 at bats.
The starting pitching has really helped the Bisons get off to a good start this year. Dillon Gee is 3-0 with a 2.76 Era and has only walked 4 batters in 29 innings. R A Dickey has 3 wins and a 2.31 ERA
