Once again, Jerry is compelled to put Matthews in the lineup. Matthew has been horrible at best, and doesn't deserve playing time, especially since Francoeur has been playing well. Francoeur might need a rest; his body has taken a beating. I will never understand Jerry's thinking. Wright never gets a day off, but Davis, 23, gets a day off after only three weeks. Absolutely no logic to his thinking.
Today's start is at 12:30. Mets go for the Rubber game.
