Mets ready to play 17 straight games without a day off: Starts tonight against the Giants

Mets embark on a little 17 game journey tonight when Molina and the SF Giants come to town. The Mets will play 9 of the 17 at home. They will start with games against the Giants,Nats and end the 17 game stretch against that team in the bronx at home. In between they will go on the road against the Marlins to play 4, 2 against the Braves and 2 against the Nats. So thats 17 games without a day off. What can we expect? The Marlins and the Braves are sputtering.

Will Jason Bay have a couple of multiple rbi games and maybe even 2 homers in a game? Will he still be batting 4th come 2 weeks from now?

Will Jose Reyes be batting 3rd by the end of this stretch? Will he have the opportunity to at least double his stolen base total to 8?

Will Wright still be hot when the Yankees come into town in 2 weeks? Will Mets fans be looking for Daniel Murphy do to a prolonged slump from rookie Davis?

Will Mike Pelfrey not go on the DL? Will Manager Jerry smile watching Ollie Perez pitch?

The Mets face the Nationals 6 times during this 17 games and there not the punching bag they were last year. The fountain of youth Livan Hernandez is 4-1 and has a ERA of 0.99. Of course that will sputter but will he give the Mets fits?

I think the Metsies, if they can get Jason Bay on track, can go 10-7 during this stretch. What do you think they will do?
