No we don't want to hear that Sir Ollie didn't like the cold. Get over it. Everyone else has to pitch in it. Of course when Ollie is bad he is real bad. The character couldn't even last 4 innings out there yesterday. He walked 7 batters and seem to go 3-2 on ever batter.
Of course the wind out there made it look like a circus in the outfield as well as the infield. Jason Bay was fortunate to get a double and a single due to the wind out there. He might have had a home run in one of those hits to left field if the wind was not playing tricks.
AAron Rowand rode the jet stream out to right center for the go ahead 2 run home run in the 8th in the Giants 6-5 victory.
Did you see Bruce Bouchy? He was incensed by the end of the game . With Brian Wilson on the mound in the 9th he was sitting on the bench not upfront against the dugout steps like normally.
After Bay received a gift double in the 9th, Wright,Davis and Frenchy were struck out when all they needed was a single to tie the score. Wright was thrown out arguing balls and strikes in the 9th so it would have shades of 1986 if the Mets tied it in that inning since the Mets would have sent a pitcher out to play the field. Betcha BigPelf was raring to go!
