Mets lose by 2 touchdowns.

Remember that series the Mets had at Petco Park where they lost 4 in a row and the scores were like 1-0 and 3-2 etc? Yeah ok now the Mets lose in style. They score 6 runs and still lose by 12.

The Mets did some battling early coming back from a 6-1 deficit to 6-4 on a triple from Jose Reyes who drove in 2 runs. Then the Mets had Valdes come in and pour gasoline on the fire by not retiring 1 batter and giving up a couple of singles and 3 walks before Manager Jerry had enough. Ron Darling made some good point about Valdes delivery saying the pitcher was standing up straight so he couldn't’t get the ball down in the strike zone. I don’t get how this team just constantly walks the world.

The Padres are near the bottom scoring runs and on base percentage but we give them a run total which normally takes close to a week to tally.

Whats up with Igarashi? He cant get anyone out either. 1/3 of an inning and gives up a touchdown. What is he doing taking notes from Ollie?

I guess we are passed Jason Bay’s 3 game hot streak. He took another collar.
