Mets on a nice run. Need to keep it up as top AL teams are on the Horizon.

The Mets just completed a sweep of the triple A Orioles this weekend which gives them a 15-5 record over the last 20 games. It also gave them a chance to improve there record away from Citi to 11-18 and maybe quiet the little birds who incessantly pick on the Mets away record as they had to Cleveland for 3 games Tues-Thursday night. For a while they yacked about Manager Jerry but of course that died with the Mets playing well.

The Mets have to keep there run going since after Cleveland, who has played better of late, the Metsies have to play the Yankees in the Bronx who just moved into a tie for 1st place and then have the 2nd place Tigers and the 1st place Twins heading to Citi Field. The Mets have 24 wins at home and they really need to do well against the AL Central teams who are doing well in there division.

Over the last month the Mets have been heating up offensively with David Wright hitting .303 with 25 RBi’s in his last 26 games. Frenchy and Bay have been hitting over .300 during the same stretch.

Santana goes up against the Indians on Tuesday night and I guess you can say that he wishes the Mets had save some runs for the game he will pitch tomorrow.
