Mets Sweep O's: Wright Speaks About His Big Day

Adam Rubin caught up with DWright after today's clutch performance where Wright hit two bombs in the Mets 11-4 shellacking of Baltimore.

Wright's, whose parents were in attendance, had two HR's and four RBI's in a three hit performance this afternoon.

Wright reiterated that HR's don't matter to him; it's all about the RBI. He has already eclipsed last year's HR total (10) by hitting his 11th and 12th HR's today.

Wright also spoke about Pelfrey's performance. Big Pelf wasn't on today, but showed a lot of guile by battling through Baltimore's lineup on a day where he didn't have his best stuff. Wright said last year Big Pelf would not have done as well, and he has shown guts and maturity.
