Alex Cora has been released and Jesus Feliciano has been demoted, the Mets have confirmed. Ruben Tejada joins the team again.
Cora, who is 34 was hitting .207 with 20 rbi's was to have a 2M contract vest for 2011 if he had played in 80 games.
F-Mart takes over for Jesus Feliciano who was sent to the Bisons. This move is a little bit puzzling since F Mart for more of the season was hitting .230 when healthy and just recently has been hot.
