Darling, GM Search, Etc

As we wake up this cool morning in the East we deal with the fact that our favorite team to the South beat the Reds by way of a no hitter.  I didnt get to see the spectacle but I heard Halladay was dominant. Nothing like pitching a no hitter in his first playoff game to get out the frights of pitching in the playoffs.  Can't really go up from there.

Ron Darling was part of the TBS broadcast that had the Yankee/Twins game last night.  Hey at least he didnt have to deal with doing the Phillies game.  He was teamed up with Smoltz and Ernie Johnson .  They were a snooze fest.  Now I know the 3 of them never worked before but Johnson always seem to default to Smotlz about pitching under pressure.  Darling seem to be lost to find where he fit in. They really didnt add much to the game but hey its early. Maybe they need a visit by Mex in the booth.

Mets have not recieved permission to speak to anyone yet about there open GM position. Is that more in the fact that people are not interested ?

John Hart seems to be everywhere being quoted he love a shot.  Not sure he is right for the job at this point but you have to love his enthusiasm.
