As we wait for the last regular weekend of football sunday to take hole today just some little notes on the Mets and the start of the 2011 year.
ESPN.com has a nice little package of resolutions on some of the Mets hitters and what they need to improve on in 2011 with some nice stats to back it up.
It includes how in 2010 Beltran did not hit a homer with 2 strikes which is the first time as a Met . Back in 2006 he hit 16 home runs with 2 strikes.
There are some good stats even on Jose Reyes and his lack of power he displayed on hitting fastballs around his eye level.
It even give you some background on Luis Castillo which scares me since no one wants to see this guy in uniform when the Mets come North in late March.
