Mets get big game by Gee and win by shut out again

The Mets who before last night were just 1 of 2 teams that had not won by a shut out made it 2 in a row with there 1-0 win today over the Nationals.

Dillion Gee was masterful as he kept the Nationals off guard by changing speeds . He had a no no until Met killer Livan Hernandez singled in the 6th with 2 outs.

Justin Turner plated Josh Thole for the only run in the 4th inning. 5th gamer in a row Turner had a rbi.

Jason Bay had 3 hits against the softball stylings of Livan Hernandez. 2 singles and 1 double for the Mets 66M dollar bust so far.  The Mets finished the mini home stand with a cummalitive record at home now of 10-12 .

They head to the bronx for 3 games this weekend against the agining Yankees. Who seem to have more drama surronding there team then the Mets for once.
