Mets should offer in trade Jason Bay for Burke Badenhop

Embarassing loss last night.  Jason Bay came up with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out and just needed a sac fly to give the Mets a lead. Bay and his 66M have 6 rbi's so far this year. Of course he struck out.  Bay is 1 for 8 in plating runs with less then 2 outs. Burke Badenhop was able to complete that feat with 2 outs in the 11th.

The Mets lost in 11 when Igarashi give up a 2 out single to Badenhop, who was about 1 for 23 in his career, that plated the winning run for the Fish. Igarashi seemed afraid of the pitcher. He started out the at bat with off speed pitches and almost walked him before giving up the hit on a fastball on a full count.

After the game the Mets sent Igarashi to Buffalo along with 1 for 20 Chin-lung Hu. They brought up Ruben Tejada and Pedro Beato according to Adam Rubin's Twitter feed .

Mets had there chances late but blew it . Jason Pridie couldnt get a bunt down that could have given the Mets 2 runners at 2nd and 3rd but struck out. Then in the 11th Jon Niese had a pinch hit triple . First time the Mets had a pinch hit from a pitcher in over 10 years. Reyes struck out to to strand Niese. Horrible loss thats all I can say for the Mets.

Beltran made a great play in right when he caught a sinking liner and then doubled off Infante at 2nd. Beltran has knee issues?  HA! This guy can still play!
