Jose is back, and not a moment too soon. Let's hope with his outstanding play this season (and is still not leading in All Star votes) it will be enough for Elvis to consider finding a way to sign him. Reyes returns from his bereavement hiatus to join the anemic Mets offense which sorely needs him.
Daniel Murphy and his hot bat will get the day off, and Nick Evans will play 1B. Justin Turner will spell the putrid Willie Harris and play 3B.
Mike Pelfrey, who has pitched much better of late, will take the mound in today's matinee at 1:10.
