Undefeated Mets Look For Season Opening Sweep of Padres: Mets Lineup - April 4, 2013

The Mets had a commanding 8-4 victory over the Padres, but the game wasn't as close as the final score. Matt Harvey was the definition of dominant. Harvey pitched 7 innings allowing only one hit, 2 walks and 10 strikeouts while not allowing anyone to cross home plate.

Fearless Ike finally got off the hitless wagon, and launched a gargantuan moon shot into the Flushing night.

Newly acquired John Buck has proven in his first two games as a Met that he is not only a solid back-stop and works well with the young Mets pitchers, but has also provides offense that was unexpected, Lucas Duda also went yard.

Today Dillon Gee takes the mound for the first time since last July, looking to keep the Mets undefeated.

Today's Mets lineup V. Padres:

1.  Cowgill - CF
2.  Turner - 2B
3.  Wright - 3B
4.  Davis - 1B
5.  Byrd - RF
6.  Duda - LF
7.  Buck - C
8.  Tejada - SS
