Gary Cohen: 25 years and a Met come from behind win !

Not sure how many die hards were watching last night’s game with the rookies Mets and the former World series Champs Giants but it sure was worth it . They were celebrating Cohen’s 25 years as a Met Broadcaster during the telecast and it was great hearing all 3 of the guys talk about there favorite games. Of course some of Gary’s calls were heard again. Like Endy’s catch back in 2006 which still brings chills when I hear it. “Endy Chavez saves the day!” It was pretty awesome especially during a game when the Mets were dormant for 7 innings.

There was classic games they discussed and notes that you don’t hear all the time. I mean like how when they closed Shea. Working with Murph or how Cohen was in the stands the day Cain beaned Wright and his reaction. That is why I love these guys. The Human element they bring to the broadcast.

As we know Cohen lives and dies by the Mets and it was poetic he was able to call the game as the Mets rallied for 4 runs in the 9th as Josh Satin laced the game winning 2 run single.

Being a diehard fan allowed me the opportunity to hear and watch a really fun broadcast. Thanks GKR!
