Moises Alou sat out last night's game because his left calf is still bothering him. One day before, Alou was activated from the disabled list, after this calf was allegedly feeling good enough for Alou to play, get a single and two RBI's on the first pitch he faced, in Tuesday's game, followed by a sharply hit line drive to SS, on the second pitch he faced, in Tuesday's game. By the time of the rain delay in Tuesday's game, his calf had stiffened, and he was replaced by Damion Easley.
Who knows if we see Alou in a Met uniform again. He can still flat out hit, but, his lack of health has made him completely unreliable. Is he headed to the disabled list again ?
Stay tuned...
