I'm not "devastated," are you ?

Tom Glavine is currently on the disabled list for the second time in his career, both times this season, with Atlanta.

The only reason it's not the third career trip to the D.L., is because the Mets, who routinely mismanage when to put players onto the disabled list, didn't have the intestinal fortitude to TELL Glavine they were placing him onto the disabled list, rather than asking Glavine if he wanted to go onto the disabled list, and adhering to his pride, when he boasted that he had never been on the disabled list throughout his career, even at the detriment to his team.

Wonderful way to show leadership skills, Glavine.

Ever hear of karma ? Now, it's coming back to bite Glavine you know where...

Apparently, Glavine will remain on the disabled list until around the All-Star break. Let's pause to break out our violins, for Glavine...

Glavine has a small tear in the flexor tendon of his left elbow, and a larger tear in his ego.

Upon hearing this news, let's just say, I'm not "devastated," are you ?
