Countdown at Shea. Bring back the old/retired Mets players and have them countdown the days left at Shea

I think most people would agree that his idea is more in line with what Met fans think the Mets should do with the way they handle the countdown of games at Shea.

Every game there is usually some corporate person with Mr. Met taking the number off the wall. Marty thinks it should be retired Mets who had the number corresponding with the number of games left. I agree. It’s an idea that ties in to the history of the Mets.
