Yesterday was a long day of waiting for nothing to happen. The Mets did nothing on the field and in the front office. Omar didn’t pull the trigger and fans woke up I’m sure saying well he could have found a reliever etc.
Well you know what. He stuck to his guns. He didn’t rent anybody and over pay for services for 2 months good job Omar!! We give you the smiley face award for the day.!!! You deserve it!!
I think what else helps the Mets here is the fact the Phillies stood pat and the Marlins only picked up Arthur Rhoades after starting the day thinking they might get Manny Ramirez
Ok the Mets are in Houston tonight where they play the Astros. They are coming off a tough loss to the Marlins but they didn’t give up. This isn’t the same team that played in games in May and June. July is over now.
They finished the month of July 17-9. There best month of the year. Here is to building on that for the month of August. Let’s go Mets!!!
