Well there are some frustrated Met fans out there. With the Mets unveiling there partial plans for 2009 it has come to light that there is no such thing now as a Sunday plan or a Saturday plan.
These weekend plans now include 5 games to weekday games. For people that have no shot of going to games during the week due to other commitments thats a shame.
The Mets of course are more concerned with the fact of selling tickets to games that due to day of week not be big sellers. It is tough enough that these tickets cost what they do. Now people who buy these plans have to get rid of these games. Also if you get the sunday plan how many of those games will end of on sunday night baseball with a 8pm starting time?
