With the Mets sending K Rod to New york for a physical Omar and the Mets move on to other holes they need to fill. Even though it looks like pitching is still a priority Ken Rosenthal reports the Mets had lunch or an early dinner with the agent of Raul Ibanez.
Rosenthal states "Members of the Mets' front office were spotted meeting with Ibanez's agents at a restaurant inside the Bellagio hotel on Tuesday afternoon."
Of course other teams are interested so I am sure its more to make sure the Mets are in the running for the Lefty Ibanez.
