With the Cubs trying to unload to obtain Peavy should the Mets at least try for Mark DeRosa?

If the Mets want to get someone cheap and have a good player off the bench they should contact the cubs about Mark DeRosa.

With the Cubs trying to trim payroll to obtain Jake Peavy they might be looking to unload him for cheap.

Also even though the Mets do not want to spend the cash on Jason Marquis ,maybe they can talk the Cubs in eating more of his salary. The guys is an innings eater.
