AS we wake up this chilly morning to the first day of 2009 the Mets are still waiting on a decision from Derek Lowe regarding there offer of 3 years. Now word comes down that the Mets expect this battle with Boras to be drawn out for a week maybe 2. Ugh. Well with Boras what can we expect. It would be nice to have woken up and seeing a article that Lowe was signed but just because we are in 2009 does not mean things will change quickly. Of course the one good thing now is that we are basically only about 6 weeks from pitchers and catchers reporting. Also there is the start of the MLB Network tonight for the diehards that need there baseball 24/7.
