Not sure why if the Red Sox have no interest in Derek Lowe that there always seems to be some story about Lowe in there papers.
The Boston Globe is reporting from a "source" that Mr Lowe was very underwhelmed by the Mets initial offer and intends to keep on shopping for a team . Of course I am sure the Mets offer of 3 years 36 Million was not really the best offer he will see from the Mets. He is coming off a 9 M per year 4 year deal with the Dodgers.
