Yesterday, Ken Davidoff - Newsday, reported that the Mets will likely send a scout to California to monitor Chad Cordero.
Cordero underwent surgery for his pitching, right, shoulder last July. Drafted by Minaya when he was GM of the Montreal Expos in 2003, Cordero will be 27 this March.

he seems to be getting a lot of attention as a bargain basement type of contract. I dont see the Mets doing more then a look since he is one of Omar's boys.
