The Mets today have signed reliever Pedro Feliciano to a 1 year deal worth a little bit over 1.6 M as per Ken Davidoff of Newsday.
The Mets avoid this year having any players go to a arbitration hearing.
As per the article
"Pedro limited lefty batters to a .280 on-base percentage and .295 slugging percentage. The pitcher had submitted a salary of $1.950 million for his arbitration hearing, which had been scheduled for next Thursday, Feb. 12, while the Mets submitted $1.350 million."
The contract amount is a little bit less then half the difference of the 2 offers.
