The Mets today held a press conference to announce the signing of Oliver Perez. Omar,Ollie,Scott Boras and Jeff Wilpon were in attendance.
Oliver answered a couple of questions and then Omar was asked some questions. Omar feels that offense is not the problem and he does not see adding anyone to the lineup. He said that at most he would maybe add a bench player. If Manny would accept a major league minimum he would be interested. I am sure he was not going to say much with Scott Boras right there. Today was Ollie's day.
