Ahhh good ole Pedro. He has not pitched since September 25 last year and everyone is singing his praises after he pitched 2 innings yesterday for the Dominican Republic team.
The NY Post headline is STRONG START FOR PEDRO - New York Post Ok lets not go that far.
The guy pitches 2 innings and give up 2 runs and its a strong start. Yes it was better then Freddy Garcia's strong start last week and is start this earlier this week but it should not make Omar re think his plans.
The Mets do have others fighting for this 5th spot. Pedro did have his command one scout said but lets not go there. The 2 inning stint was over 45 pitches. It was not too efficient . Yes it was first one. He will pitch again and lets see what happens to him. Omar just sit on your hands ok?
