Johan Santana pitches four innings and has no issues.

As most of the Mets are in Orlando playing the Braves Johan Santana went about his business and pitched 4 innings against some of the minor league players.

According to Amazing Stories Johan dished out 56 pitches with 40 strikes. He gave up 6 hits 2 runs no walks and 5 punch outs. Johan said that “ they were very aggressive. That’s what you want to see, what kind of approaches they take. You’re trying to slow everything down, you’re trying to slow the game down by changing speeds and moving the ball around.”

Rocky Cherry update. He passed through waivers and the Orioles did not want him so now the Mets released him and are working on a minor league deal .
