Well I guess the cat is out of the bag for Mike Pelfey. Instead of being upfront he chooses to put himself before the ball club and keeps the stiffness he has experienced in the last month to himself. A thank you goes to his partner in crime John Maine.
I understand that pitchers keep issues or at least try to keep issues to themselves. The problem I have with this is the fact that sometimes it costs wins. Now it is considered forearm tendinitis.
Not sure if fans remember that Billy Wagner started out with stiffness before he went under the knife.
Hey Big Pelf be a man and when you have an issue let the team know. I bet John Maine knew about the issue before the Mets did.
