Over at Newsdays blogs David Lennon reports on how some of the Mets were watching the MLB networks feed of game 7 of the NLCS from 2006 in the locker room yesterday afternoon.
I have to say its pretty cool that these guys, who were part of this game, were actually watching it. Of course Carlos Beltran walked out of the locker room in the 8th inning . Not sure why?. Jose Reyes was watching intently.
Nice to see these guys watch a game that I am sure is tough for them to relive. I was there and it still brings back haunting memories of certain plays. Jose Valentin strike out and of course Beltran's strike out still haunt me.
2006 is the past now and 2009 is finally around the corner. The last couple of days where the game do not count!! Bring the season ON !!!!
