I remember it well, it was a night game. The whole family was in the living room thinking that soemething great was going to happen that night. I mean the Cubs were completely over-matched the entire game. And then Jimmy Q---
I can't continue. :)
Anyway, I also remember watching his 18 strikeout game against the Padres as he struck out the last 10 batters in a row! This still stands in my mind as the most impressive displays of pitching dominance in MLB history.
Tom Seaver was no joke.
