Tickets price to rise in 2010? To pay for what?

First off I shut the game off in the 8th inning after the Santos home run expecting the Met to blow it.

Of course right now it is all speculation but with the Yankees announcing there plans for 2010 tickets the Mets have stayed quiet.

Bart H over at the
NY Post thinks that with the Madoff scandal that the Mets will try to recoup some of there losses by raising ticket prices to see the team right now that cant get out of its own way.

I think its just the Mets as usual are slow and behind the curve and have not set prices yet for next year. They might raise some and drop other prices. I mean people complained that the ticket prices were too high but the Mets are averaging 39,000 at Citi.

Or the Mets might be waiting for the team to get on a win streak. Tough to say hey look come see the 2010 Mets and pay more when this 2009 team can't get out of there own way. So it could take until spring training before the Mets announce anytihng waiting on a win streak. 200 days to opening day
