The Mets are not playing the Marlins this weekend which is refreshing. They play the Astros that had to watch the Phillies clinch the division . The Mets are more concerned at this point what will transpire in the off season.
There is only 2 items of interest this friday with the Mets . The Mets are suppose to have some type of announcement regarding Jose Reyes. I have read that at this point surgery doesnt seem the route he will take since its on a partial tear of the hamstring. The hamstring tendon might need surgery on but then Reyes has to worry about scarring stay tuned it is turning out like a segment on the show Extra.
Lets hope that John Maine can go into the off season and build on a solid performance tonight against the Astros. The Mets really need to see him flourish.
