It was announced today that the Mets will wear a retro, new white pinstriped home jersey for 2010.
In a word, itsabouttime! The Mets have finally embraced the idea of embracing their history; it started with the painting of the stairways in the stadium, naming VIP entrances after important people in Mets history, finally creating a physical Mets Hall Of Fame, and now the new/old uniforms.
It comes a bit late, but I applaude it They will use the black uniforms as alternate home uniforms...hopefully they will be rarely used!
