Happy Holidays! Sherman nails it on the head about Jason Bay

As we can start the countdown to Santa sightings on the east coast, Joel Sherman's latest column in

NY Post

Talks about how the Mets need to get there dignity back with giving a deadline to Jason Bay. I agree whole heartdly. There is no reason why this offer needs to be out there this long as Bay tries to get other teams involved.

Sherman states "So they need to regain some of that. In other words patience is out. It is time to tell Bay he has 24 hours to accept what is almost certainly the top offer on the market, and if not the Mets need to move on. But this can’t be a bluff."

Yes tell Bay and his agent make a decision. Time to get off the pot!

Merry Christmas !
