The Mets inked former Angel Pitcher Kelvim Escobar to 1 year deal. He has been injured for most of the last 2 years. The 33yr old who "had surgery in 2008 to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder and then suffered a setback in 2009 that limited him to one start." As per the Daily News. The Mets will use in the bullpen as a set up man to K Rod if he is healthy. This of course clogs up the 40 man roster.
Will the Mets say goodbye to Bay now that there is word that his agent is pressuring the Red Sox to work a deal with his client . Omar let it go and move on. Bay cracks me up because it wasnt too long ago he played for the Pirates. The Mets are certainly not the Pirates when it comes to there desire to win.
