Mets offer 2 years to Molina might go all in with Lackey

Newsday is reporting the Met offered 2 years to mr Molina to be the starting catcher. I am ok with a 2 year deal. Of course i have mentioned earlier I would prefer a younger catcher but what can you do. A 2 year deal give Josh Thole some time to grown. He can learn from Coste and Santos in triple a and then in 2011 maybe he can be the back up to Molina. This of course if Molina excepts the deal 6M per yr.

Also the Mets seem a bit frightened in what some of the middle of the line pitchers are being offered. So this might make them go all in for John Lackey. He was looking at topping A J Burnett 82.5M deal he got from the cheapo Yankees.

I think the Mets fans would be excited with a 1,2 of Johan and Lackey. Will there be a Lackey bobblehead day in the Mets future?

No word yet on if Wolf has accepted a deal from the Brewers. The Yankees look to have locked up Andy P for just under 12M

Kevin Millwood might be heading to the Orioles. Orioles have also balked at what the Marlins want for Dan Uggla<>
